Visit the Westminster Village White Elephant Re-Sale Shop. It's their resident managed and supported thrift store, located at 5221 Southside. Open Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. White Elephant funds go into Resident Funds for resident needs. The White Elephant provides an excellent opportunity to volunteer. If you have items to donate, contact the office. The following items are not accepted: beds, mattresses, bedding (sheets, comforters, etc.), pillows, underwear, bras, socks, stuffed animals, couches, loveseats and foot stools. If you would like to volunteer to help at the White Elephant, stop by on Saturdays to see Jean Scott.
