Feed Blytheville is being organized to respond to the ongoing need for food distribution in the Blytheville, Gosnell and Armorel areas.
After our fundraising round, Feed Blytheville intends to make hot meals and distribute once per week directly to residents. If we see that the need is larger, we will respond with an additional fundraising round to help fund the project.
We intend to provide meals like homemade soups, spaghetti, chili and cinnamon rolls, cornbread or rolls and a dessert like a cobbler or piece of pie. Food will be delivered to each person or family and you'll be able to nominate recipients on our Facebook page.
We are seeing an increase in food distributions in the area, and we want to help by taking a day to deliver hot, prepared food to folks who may not be able to prepare a meal or even have the gas money to go pick food up.
We need money to purchase the food and paper goods to put the food in for delivery. We're preparing the food and delivering at no cost. Please consider helping us with this initial seed round for the project and help Feed Blytheville.
